Customization

The CT Dashboard user interface can easily be customized for each individual user. (Note: Agents must be granted permission to make changes. See CT Suite administrator for support).

Changing the Dashboard Layout

Simply click-and-drag a panel tab and rearrange as desired.

A visual popup tool will appear the represent panel positions. Select the desired position within the dashboard main window.

You may also drag the panel outside of the main dashboard window to run as a detached panel.

Add or Edit a Panel

To add a panel, go to Main Menu bar and click View**à**Add Panel

To edit a panel, go to Main Menu bar and click View**à**Edit Panel, or r-click within a panel and select Edit Panel

  1. Select Period of time: Interval or Shift. Intervalrefers to the period of time measured (current default=1 hour). Example 1:00PM-1:59PM. Resets at beginning of each hour. Shiftrefers to a 24 hour period. Example: 12:00AM-11:59PM. Resets daily at midnight (future releases will allow customizable time periods).

  2. Select Element: VDN, Skill, Agent

  3. Click-and-drag the available data to the Selected column

  4. Select Items to monitor in the panel

  5. Click OK

Delete a Panel

To edit a panel, go to Main Menu bar and click View**à**Delete Panel, or r-click within a panel and select Delete Panel.

Save Customized Settings

Any changes to the dashboard, including panel deletes, must be saved in order to retain them permanently.

Go to Main Menu bar, click File**à**Save Dashboardand either save to an existing *.dash file or create a new one. Note: If a Default dashboard is supplied by the CT Admin server, you must save to a separate file name (e.g., MyCustomFile), in order to retain custom setting.
